John Shaker - President / CEO

Mr. John Shaker is an accomplished systems engineer with over twenty five years of experience delivering (or architecting) world-class business and engineering solutions required for complex systems. Mr. Shaker has spent his career developing business, communications, information, spaceflight, and weapons system solutions for numerous Fortune 50 companies, the DoD, and NASA. Mr. Shaker utilizes a unique systems approach that can be applied in diverse business environments to develop solutions that span the development lifecycle from strategy to deployment. He has directed multi-disciplined teams to address the needs of NovaTek clients to innovate and increase their operational effectiveness.

Mr. Shaker founded NovaTek Engineering in 1997, to assist clients to develop and link their business strategy with technology and product development activities in a way that leads to real business value. At NovaTek he led the creation of an end-to-end framework that facilitates the reliable and repeatable development of complex, highly integrated business and engineering systems. Mr. Shaker consistently delivers quality solutions that exceed client expectations.

Mr. Shaker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
